Aggressive Taper Blade Reamers

Razor sharp carbide cutters. Cougar taper blade reamers use chunky, sharp, aggressive chunks of carbide to carve up dog legs and tight spots. The huge exposed surface of sharp shards of tungsten carbide is held together in a nickel matrix that is designed to be softer than our stabilizer matrix. This means that as the sharp edges of the carbide wear down in the hole, so does the matrix, exposing more sharp carbide underneath. The more cutting the taper blade reamer does, the sharper the blades become.
