With the growing demand for PDC technology and PDC bits, Cougar Tool™ recognizes the demand for a shock tool that works and performs with this new technology. Unlike the conventional tri cone bit, the PDC bit is operated under different characteristics and so does our ST5 PDC style shock tool. Spring rates and operating characteristics will enhance the shock tool’s performance in conjunction with a PDC bit.
